Tip#9

When you are eating a meal, especially when you are eating out, consider stopping halfway through your plate.  Give yourself about 15-20 minutes to really feel if you need to eat anymore.  If you can take home half your food, then the caloric intake will be a lot less and you will still get to taste that food you really want to eat.   And on top of everything else, you get to eat the other half later!  This tip will not only save your health, but will help your wallet too.
